Welcome to BLOOM!
Beautiful Mama,
I'd love to have you join me on this transformational 8-week journey.
Beautiful Mama, Join me in a Transformational 8-week Journey
Guess what, Mama?
There is no going back to life before you were a mother.
I hope that you rejoice when you hear that statement.
And if not that’s okay too. When I became a mother I was so disappointed to discover how much rhetoric there is out there STILL around mothers returning to the person they were before birth.
Whether it’s getting the body you had back before birth, or getting back to your career, or having the same amount of time you had before you were a mom, there is a lot of information out there that is flat-out-harmful for moms.
I’m here to show you a new paradigm of Motherhood, Mama, one in which there is no going back, only powerful transformation. One in which you are fully empowered to live the life YOU want.
BLOOM is the course I wish I had been given after birth.
A COURSE THAT HELPS YOU BUILD A POWERFUL FUTURE
- a future where you
- feel great in your body and are consistently happy with how you look in the mirror
- are crystal clear about your passions and dreams and know when and how to put yourself first
- feel fully equipped and supported in your mental health
- embrace your motherhood journey for the amazing, unique one that it is and stop comparing yourself to others
- honour your emotions and know how to work with Earth’s cycles to live your best life
Are you ready to take a leap in your energy and vitality so that you can be the mother and woman you truly desire to be?

Example Curriculum
Hi, I’m Charlotte
In January of 2013 I was sitting in a hospice beside my mother who was dying of ALS. The disease had taken a hold three years earlier and our lives as a family had profoundly changed. I was remembering a moment when I was hugging my mother sometime during her illness when I felt like I was hugging her, protecting her and nurturing her, as a mother would do. Though I will forever remain her child, in that moment I felt the transition within me of moving from my maiden phase into one of motherhood. I knew that this experience, of caring so deeply for another and letting them go, was helping shape the way I would mother my own child and the offerings I would be able to share with others.
The experience of profound loss in my early 20’s was a rite of passage. It showed me that big transitions in life hold opportunities. The challenges contained within them can forge new paths for our awakening and empowerment if we are given the right tools and support.
It showed me that my dedication to following my passion had relevance to the lives of others. My studies in yoga had profound benefit for myself and my mother during that time. The meditative practice of staying with what is, even and especially when uncomfortable, helped me show up.
Motherhood also provides ample opportunities to practice the sacred art of staying present.
Fast-forward to March 2020, when my partner and I had our son during the Covid-19 crisis and, like so many families, found ourselves without the support, community and celebration we had hoped for. Again, I leaned on my movement and meditation practice for support. I also reached out to other moms. I knew that I wasn’t going through this alone.
From as early as I can remember I have been exploring the body in motion and inquiring deeply into the mind and soul. I made a commitment early on in my life to follow that passion. It meant I left a University degree in psychology to pursue one in contemporary dance. It meant traveling to India alone in pursuit of spiritual teachings, leaving the 9-5 grind of city life to move to a rural island where I am surrounded by others who are also following the road-less-travelled.
Mommy Grooves is evolving, just like me. But I hope the wisdom and practices you find here are of service to you on your journey, Mama.
I look forward to connecting soon.
With Love,
Charlotte

- Who is BLOOM for?
BLOOM is for moms anywhere from 1 to 2 months postpartum, to many years down the road of motherhood.

BLOOM has something to offer all mamas.
Always check in with your doctor, midwife or health care provider before beginning any exercise regime.
BLOOM begins gently and works up to more challenging exercises so it's important that you feel in good health before embarking on this journey.
- How much time do I need to complete the material each week?
If you do the movement and meditation sets once a week and the writing exercises you'll only need 3 hours a week to complete the course in 8 weeks. However you have lifetime access so I encourage you to go at your own pace and do the movement and meditations as much as time allows!
